GAYT , PARKS, RECREATION AND HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: Date: MAY 17, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTINUOUS AGREEMENT <br />FOR CHILD CARE SERVICES IN 1991-92 <br />102TOM T"I,11am <br />In 1988, the Human Services Department entered into an agreement with the State Department <br />of Education to provide latchkey child development services to the community. These <br />contracts are continuous, but require authorization each fiscal year. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />In 1991-92, the latchkey center -based contract will generate $114,118 revenue and will <br />provide one hundred low-income families with subsidized fees for child care.
