Sotelo, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: _q�Date: 5122191 <br />MID -YEAR ACCOUNT ADJUSTMENTS <br />During the months of March and April departmental accounts were reviewed to determine if <br />adjustments were required to end the fiscal year with adequate fund balances. Staff realized that many <br />adjustments were required. <br />The adjustments are identified in the attached schedule and were accomplished by reducing accounts <br />that would end in surpluses and adding to those that are running short. The overall effect is the <br />savings of approximately $30,000 with no increase to the overall budget. The existing budget was not <br />increased but accounts within the budget were adjusted to ensure that funds are available for the end <br />of the fiscal year. <br />It is staJ''s recommendation that the attached budget adjustments be approved by the City Council. <br />Attachments: <br />RECORDS <br />Page 1 of — _ ................ 02 <br />Item No. <br />
