Applications <br />were carefully screened by both the Personnel Department and <br />the Mayor, City Council and City Manager. Five persons were <br />invited to an oral examination held May 14, 1991. The candi- <br />dates were interviewed by Mayor Gonzales, Councilman Rehrer, <br />Councilwoman Cisneros, Councilman Lofy, Councilman Roman and <br />City Manager Edmund Sotelo.
