NOTICE INVITING BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Colton has authorized the City Clerk to advertise for sealed bids for furnishing of supplies, services and/or equipment described below. Bids will be received at the City Yard, 160 South 10th Street, City of Colton up to the hour of 2:30 P.M. on the 24th day of October 1991 at which time all bids will be publicly opened, declared and explained. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 10% of the bid amount submitted. The bid amount shall include all taxes, freight and/or handling charges and all other costs to be paid by the City. The bid security shall be in the form of cash, cashier': check or certified check signed by a responsible bank or by a bond in said amount and payable to the City, signed by the bidder and an admitted surety insurer. Said bid security shall be a guaranty that the bidder will, if an award is made to him in accordance with the terms of the submitted bid, execute a contract in the form and manner and furnish performance and/or labor and material bonds as required in the Bid Specifications for this notice. Such contract and bonds must be executed and furnished within ten (10) days of the notice of award of contract. Bids shall be submitted on contract document forms to be obtained at the Receptionist, City of Colton, City Hall, for a fee of $ -0-. Contract documents will consist of the herein Notice Inviting Bids, Bid Instructions, Demolition Specifications, Proposal and Statement and form of agreement as prepared and required by the City of Colton. Description of supplies, services and/or equipment is as follows: PAD -MOUNTED, PHASE, LOAD IN.-ERRUPTER SWITCHES FOR THE CITY OF COLTON ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT. Dated this 7th day of Oct. 1991.
