R-/6,!5--91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />FOR WELL #14 AND AUTHORIZING REPAIRS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />declares that the repair of Well #14 to be an emergency; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section <br />20168 allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the <br />life, health or property of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City <br />Council waives the bid processing procedure for the <br />repair of Well #14 in order to safeguard the life, health <br />and property of the public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of <br />November, 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
