TO: HONORABLE MAYOR and CITY COUNCIL A
FOR: Council Meeting of 22 October 1991
FROM: Jaime R. Aguilera, Director of Community Development 0fall G
SUBJECT: Resolution determining the property tax transfer between the County of
San Bernardino and the City of Colton as a result of the annexation of
Peppertree Lane to the City. E
BACKGROUND:
State law requires that agreement on distribution of property tax relating to proposed N
boundary changes be reached before the Local Agency Formation Commission issues a
Certificate of Filing.
In the case of Peppertree Lane, which only involves the annexation for a means of access
to a residential development within the City, the agreement necessitates the adoption of
a resolution determining that there will be no transfer of property tax revenues, as a result
of the annexation.
A
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the adoption of the attached Resolution approving the agreement
between the County of San Bernardino and the City of Colton.
R
CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENC
E
CITY OF COLTON P
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
PLANNING DIVISION
Attachment: Resolution
San Bernardino County Resolution No. 91-314
LC
W
T
Agenda Report 9CC_2681.CHP PAGE 1 OF 1 12-
+,
BLE N' `
r'i:......
