upon direction for the Presiding Officer. <br />Any person who verbally attacks other individuals, groups, or <br />City officials, or otherwise becomes boisterous while address- <br />ing the Council, or while attending the Council Meeting, shall <br />be ruled out of order by the Presiding Officer. If someone <br />begins to make impertinent or slanderous remarks, the Presid- <br />ing Officer (or the City Manager or City Attorney at the direc- <br />tion of the Presiding Officer) will instruct the person to <br />follow the Council rules. If the person does not cease, the <br />Presiding Officer will instruct the Chief of Police to remove <br />the person from the Council Chambers and bar him/her from fur- <br />ther audience before the Council. <br />*********************************************************************** <br />5 <br />SEP 17 1991 <br />
