Hutton, Director of Public Works 0�y <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annexation Nos. 40 and 41 into Date: September 10, 1991 <br />the City's Landscape Maintenance District <br />RD(V(,Rnl INn <br />The Council has previously approved the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District. <br />Properties within certain Benefit Zones may be annexed into the District. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />Attached is the "Consent and Waiver to Annexation" from the owners of properties <br />within such a Benefit Zone. The property owners are requesting annexation into the <br />City's Landscape Maintenance District. Under the provisions of the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972, a single property owner can request annexation into a Landscape <br />District, waiving any public hearings. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Areas within the District are maintained with fees collected by the County Tax <br />Collector. <br />ENV I RONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECIONIV ENDAT I ON : <br />Staff recommends that Council approve Annexations Nos. 40 and 41 into the City's <br />Landscape Maintenance District. <br />/lj <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of Item No.� <br />
