EDWARDS AS CITY ATTORNEY <br />WHEREAS, Stephen W. Edwards has provided legal assistance to <br />the City of Colton for approximately thirty two years, and has <br />served as its City Attorney since October 1, 1975; and <br />WHEREAS, Stephen W. Edwards has indicated his desire to <br />retire from City service, effective October 1, 1991. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The appreciation of this City Council and the citizens <br />and taxpayers of the City is extended to City Attorney, Stephen W. <br />Edwards, for his years of dedicated service to the City. <br />2. The resignation of the City Attorney, effective <br />October 1, 1991, is accepted by the City Council. The City <br />acknowledges that Stephen W. Edwards has qualified for post- <br />retirement health benefits, as specified in City Resolution <br />No. 4598, and agrees to provide such benefits. <br />3. The Mayor of the City of Colton is authorized to execute, <br />on behalf of the City, the attached Resignation Agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of September, 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN RAMOS, City Clerk <br />FRANK A.
