CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of August 18, 1992 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Mark Lewis, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Resolution of the City Council of the City f Colton Date: Aug. 12, 1992 <br />Approving Amendment No. 1 to the Joint Exercise of Powers <br />Agreement Creating an Agency to be Known as the San Bernardino <br />Regional Airport Authority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the July 15, 1992, meeting of the Commission of the San Bernardino Regional <br />Airport Authority ("Authority"), the Commissioners discussed the appropriate- <br />ness of changing the name of the Authority to the San Bernardino International <br />Airport Authority and the name of the proposed airport to the San Bernardino <br />International Airport for marketing purposes. The Commission instructed <br />Authority staff to prepare an amendment to the existing Airport Authority <br />Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement. This Amendment revises the Joint Exercise <br />of Powers Agreement to reflect the changed names of the Authority and the <br />Commission only, for consideration by the five (5) city members and the County <br />of San Bernardino. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Council approve the above referenced Resolution. <br />Attachments <br />Page 1 of i <br />Item No. <br />
