CITY OF COLTON <br />�tForPore�sp j <br />AGENDA REPORT 18 <br />6 OS4 <br />For Council Meeting of December 15, 1992 <br />TO: ;HON RAB YOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: DECEMBER 9, 1992 <br />FROM: ISty Manager <br />SUBJECT: Dedicate Portion of the City of Colton Community Newsletter to Council Members for the <br />Purpose of Informing the Public of Events in Each Respective District. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Each Quarter the City of Colton publishes a City Newsletter which contains Community Information, News <br />from the various City Departments, Safety Tips, Community Service Information and Parks and Recreation <br />Information. This Colton Community Newsletter is mailed to all residents and businesses residing in the City <br />of Colton.. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In order to inform the constituents of current events in each of the City's six Councilmanic Districts, a request <br />has been received to include a report from the Council Members of each District and the Mayor in the City of <br />Colton Community Newsletter. The report shall be limited to providing information to the Citizens of Colton <br />regarding significant happenings in their City and should in no way promote the name(s) of any specific Council <br />Member(s)I the Mayor, or any specific projects in which they are directly involved. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends dedicating one page in each issue of the City of Colton Community Newsletter to include a <br />report from each of the City's six Councilmanic Districts and an at -large report from the Mayor. <br />
