Acevedo, Finance Direc r� <br />Date: June 4, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid to Consolidated Fabricators <br />Corporation for Various Size Refuse Containers, <br />in the Amount of $12,141.28. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Public Works Refuse Division has a requirement to purchase <br />additional refuse containers in three different sizes to service <br />commercial accounts. In addition to the containers, they also <br />require lid rods and fasteners for the lid rods. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On May 21, 1992, General Services advertised for sealed bids for the <br />above requirements. Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., June 3, 1992 <br />in the General Services office. Two bids were received. A Bid <br />Analysis is attached showing price and delivery of the two bidders. <br />The recommended bidder's total price is underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award for these requirements to Consolidated <br />Fabricators Corporation in the amount of $12,141.28. <br />Report prepared by: Kenneth L.
