1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-11-92 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING CHAPTER 3.28 OF <br />TITLE 3 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO GRANT CREDITS AGAINST <br />SALES AND USE TAXES OWED TO THE CITY OF COLTON IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />SALES AND USE TAXES PAID, IF ANY, TO THE COLTON REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Chapter 3.28 of Title 3 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 3.28.139 <br />to read as follows: <br />113.28.139 - Credit Against Payment of Taxes. <br />Any retailer or consumer subject to a sales or use <br />tax under this chapter shall be granted a credit <br />against the payment of tax owed under this chapter <br />in the amount of sales or use tax paid, if any, to <br />the redevelopment agency for the city pursuant to <br />the "Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton <br />Sales and Use Tax Ordinance for the Plaza Las <br />Glorias Shopping Center within the Mt. Vernon <br />Corridor Redevelopment Project Area," as enacted <br />by Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton <br />Ordinance No. 1-92 11 <br />SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage <br />of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once <br />in a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in <br />the County of San Bernardino and circulated in the City of <br />
