CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 5, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: AMBULANCES - AUTHORIZE PURCHASE OF TWO MODULAR UNITS <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The cost of each unit would be approximately $65,000 each <br />outright or they could be purchased on a multi-year lease <br />purchase plan. With no down payment and the first payment <br />due at the end of the first 12 -month period. At the end of <br />the lease term the city would own each unit. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />Initiate bidding process for two (2) units based on the Fire <br />Department Ambulance Committee's specifications, and <br />recommending the multi-year lease/purchase program. <br />City Manager's Approval: Lett"f� <br />Page of Item No <br />
