NOTICE INVITING BIDS <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City <br />of Colton has authorized the City Clerk to advertise for <br />sealed bids for furnishing of supplies, services and/or <br />equipment described below. Bids will be received at the <br />General Services office of the City of Colton up to the hour <br />of 2:30 P.M. on the 26th day of October 1992 at which time <br />all bids will be publicly opened, declared and explained. <br />All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of not <br />less than 100 of the bid amount submitted. The bid amount <br />shall include all taxes, freight and/or handling charges and <br />all other costs to be paid by the City. The bid security <br />shall be in the form of cash, cashier's check or certified <br />check signed by a responsible bank or by a bond in said <br />amount and payable to the City, signed by the bidder and an <br />admitted surety insurer. <br />Said bid security shall be a guaranty that the bidder <br />will, if an award is made to him in accordance with the terms <br />of the submitted bid, execute a contract in the form and <br />manner and furnish performance and/or labor and material <br />bonds as required in the Bid Specifications for this notice. <br />Such contract and bonds must be executed and furnished within <br />ten (10) days of the notice of award of contract. <br />Bids shall be submitted on contract document forms to be <br />obtained at the General Services office of the City of Colton <br />for a fee of $ -0-. Contract documents will consist of the <br />herein Notice Inviting Bids, Bid Specifications, Bid Proposal <br />and Form of Agreement as prepared and required by the City.of <br />Colton. <br />Description of supplies, services and/or equipment is as <br />follows: COMPOSTER/AREATOR UNIT WITH ALL ACCESSORIES FOR THE <br />CITY OF COLTON PUBLIC UTILITY DEPARTMENT. <br />Dated this 8th day of October 1992 <br />Date of Posting: October 8, 1992 <br />Approved <br />HELEN RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />
