JOHNSON <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: ADOPT JOB DESCRIPTION FOR POLICE SUPPORT SERVICES SUPERVISOR <br />BACKGROUND <br />The position Police Support Services Supervisor in the Police Department not only supervises the <br />communications and clerical functions but also the routine building maintenance function of the department. <br />The coordination and supervision of the building maintenance and supervision of assigned staff is not included <br />in the job description. One of the two positions is vacant and a recruitment needs to be conducted. Staff has <br />revised the job description to included the functions that are not currently listed. No change in salary is <br />proposed. The attached description has been provided to Mike Lynd, the SBPEA representative, for review and <br />comment. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt the attached job description for Police Support Services Supervisor. <br />Concur <br />City Manager <br />B1:AGENPSSS <br />
