EXHIBIT A CITY OF COLTON CO)UMNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO 88-1 Description of Proposed Public Capital Facilit4es and Proposed Services The proposed public capital facilities to be provided by Community Facilities District No. 88-1 (the "District") are described as follows: Storm drain improvements and appurtenant work commencing at the intersection of Citrus Street and Eighth Street running from: 1) Eighth Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, and 2) Pennsylvania Avenue west to Tracts 13451-13462. Construct an approximate 1.5 acre park located in the City of Colton which is designated as Lot A of Tentative Tract Map No. 13453. It has been proposed that this park site will be used as a soccer field and is located adjacent to Davis Park. A portion of the park site will be used as a parking lot serving the soccer field (City of Colton taxes only). The District will construct the actual sports field estimated at approximately 1.0 acres. Forecast Corporation, a developer who plans to construct housing within the District has agreed to install at their expense the parking lot portion of the park facility, estimated to be approximately .5 acres. Street improvements will be provided as incidental to the storm drain portion of facilities as street improvements will be required to overlay the storm drain facilities once installed. Construction of necessary street paving and resurfacing to streets within the boundaries of the District (City of Colton only) . The proposed services to be provided by the District are generally described as follows: Police protection and crime prevention services (and related operation and maintenance) which are in addition to the extent of such services as are currently available in the District (City of Colton area only). Rehabilitation of City of Colton public area streets within the District on a five-year maintenance schedule (City of Colton taxes only). 1
