DREWS <br />Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: Request for Approval to File and Record Notices of Completion <br />on Hub Electric Substation for Air Conditioning and Re -Roofing. <br />BACKGROUND: The Electric Department has had two (2) projects; one was to re -roof the substation <br />building, and the other was to install air conditioning units at the same location. It is required on completion <br />of a project to file a Notice of Completion. <br />DISCUSSION: Substantial completion was accomplished on both projects February 12, 1993. The <br />construction costs were: <br />Original Contract for Air Conditioning $M700 Total Cost <br />Original Contract for Re -Roofing $11,000 Total Cost <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval to file and record the Notices of Completion on the <br />Hub Substation air conditioning and re -roofing projects. <br />Report prepared by R.
