ACEVEDO, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Water Works Supplies to Date: March 9, 1993 <br />Inland Water Works Supply Co. in the Amount <br />of $12,313.69 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Colton Public Utilities Department has a requirement to <br />replace a water main at Westwood and Laurelwood. On February 26, <br />1993, General Services advertised for sealed bids to purchase the <br />supplies needed to accomplish this replacement. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., March 9, 1993, in the General <br />Services office. Four bids were received and evaluated. A Bid <br />Analysis is attached for your review. The recommended vendor's <br />price is underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award to the low bidder, Inland Water Works <br />Supply Co. in the amount of $12,313.69. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
