CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of April 5, 1994 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Recreation and Human Services Department <br />SUBJECT: BID AWARD FOR THE COOLEY RANCH PARK CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Date: 3-16-94 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The proposed site for the Cooley Ranch Park Construction Project is a vacant strip of <br />land located off of Cooley Drive just north of the new Cooley Ranch School. This <br />project will include the installation of turf, trees, two drinking fountains, a central <br />walkway, and approximately 250 feet of street improvements. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Staff advertised for bids on March 4 and March 9, 1994, plus sixteen bid <br />announcements were mailed to prospective bidders. Five bids were received by the <br />City and they were opened at 2 P.M. on March 15, 1994. The prices of the five bids <br />are shown on the attached bid analysis with the recommended bidder's price <br />underlined. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The contract price will impact Community Facilities District (CFD) 89-1.
