ERRORS IN BID <br />The undersigned has carefully checked all words and figures <br />inserted in this bid and that the undersigned will not be released <br />on account of the errors of the undersigned in the preparation of <br />this bid. _ <br />WITHDRAWAL OF BID <br />The bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be <br />withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date <br />of bid opening. <br />CERTIFICATION OF WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE <br />The Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded shall sign and file <br />with the awarding body the following certification prior to <br />performing the work of the Contract: <br />"I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the Labor <br />Code which requires every employer to be insured against <br />liability for Workmen's ^ompensation or to undertake self- <br />insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Code, and <br />I will comply with such provision before commencing the per- <br />formance of 'the work of the Contract'." <br />STATE LICENSES <br />The undersigned hereby certifies that he is currently the holder of <br />a valid Contractor's License in the State of California, and that <br />his license covers the type of work of which this proposal is made. <br />SURETY BONDS <br />At the time of his delivery of the executed contract, the <br />Contractor shall furnish three (3) surety bonds, in duplicate. One <br />as security for faithful performance of the Contract, in the amount <br />of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contractor's bid. One as <br />security for the payment of all persons performing labor and <br />furnishing material in connection with the Contract, in the amount <br />of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contractor's bid. The other <br />security, for the payment of repair and replacement of inferior or <br />faulty materials or workmanship in connection with the Contract, in <br />the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Contractor's bid. This <br />surety bond will extend for a period of one (1) year from the date <br />of acceptance. <br />PROPOSAL <br />Page 4 <br />
