CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of April 19-1 19-94 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Robert A. Lavin, Water Utilities Manager V �6 <br />SUBJECT: Date: <br />Approval of Licensing Agreement with the <br />City of Riverside for a Canal Crossing <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As a part of the City's Water Master Plan, the water system located southeast of <br />Iowa Avenue needs to cross the City of Riverside's canal crossing located near the <br />Patriot Inn. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The City of Riverside requires a licensing agreement for the canal crossing. The <br />licensing agreement fee is $750, and an initial fee of $150 has been paid. Upon <br />acceptance of the agreement by both the Cities of Riverside and Colton, the <br />remaining $600 will be paid. The licensing agreement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Attorney. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the attached licensing agreement with the <br />City of Riverside for the City of Colton's water system to cross the City of Riverside <br />canal. <br />LJ/Ij <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of-.--- Item No. <br />
