R-43-94 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS TO BE INCLUDED <br />WITHIN THE RANCHO/MILL REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA <br />FOR STUDY PURPOSES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, <br />has previously adopted an ordinance finding the need for a <br />redevelopment agency function in the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, the redevelopment agency has been duly organized as <br />the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, (the "Agency") with <br />the City Council sitting as said Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with §33310 of the California Health <br />and <br />Safety Code, this City Council, as the legislative body has <br />previously designated a Redevelopment Survey Area which covers <br />portions of the City of Colton (the "City") known as the Rancho/Mill <br />Area; and <br />WHEREAS, upon further analysis by City and Agency Staff, Staff <br />is recommending that the City Council consider expanding the <br />boundaries of said Survey Area to incorporate certain parcels as <br />more fully described in Exhibit 'A' attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to ensure the comprehensive and integrated <br />redevelopment of areas in a manner which best reduces blighting <br />influences and which best serves the interests of residents and <br />occupants of the City, the City Council deems it desirable that the <br />parcels depicted on Exhibit 'A' be studied to determine their <br />validity for redevelopment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON HEREBY <br />
