The purpose of this chapter is to provide standards and <br />procedures for the abatement of weeds and refuse within the corporate limits of the <br />City of Colton as set by Resolution of the City Council of the City of Colton. <br />SECTION 2: Sections 6.22.020, 6.22.030 and 6.22.040 are hereby <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 3: The City Council hereby declares that it would have <br />adopted this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrases and <br />portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, <br />clauses, phrases or portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional. If for <br />any reason, any portion of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or <br />unconstitutional, then all other provisions hereof shall remain valid and enforceable. <br />SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall cause this ordinance or a summary of it <br />to be published within (15) days after adoption in a newspaper of general <br />circulation, printed and published in Colton, California, and this ordinance shall take <br />effect according to law thirty (30) days after its final passage. <br />
