Gabriel, Economic Development Director -flu <br />j� <br />SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING RELATING TO THE RANCHO MEDITERRANIA Date: April 19, 1994 <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT AND ENGINEER'S <br />REPORT <br />Background <br />At the last City Council meeting, the Council adopted a resolution of intent for the formation of an <br />Assessment District at Rancho Mediterrania Mobilehome Park ("Park") in an effort to assist in the <br />financing of the individual units at the Park. The Council additionally set two dates for public <br />hearings on the same item, April 19 and May 17. The public hearing set for this date is merely set <br />to allow for comments on the formation of the District, in the following format: <br />The Mayor opens the meeting by stating that this is the time and place set for the information <br />meeting regarding the formation of Assessment District 94-1 whose boundaries will comprise the <br />Rancho Mediterrania Mobilehome Park, the acquisition of the street and water improvements within <br />the Park, the levy of assessment against the properties within the district, and the issuance of bonds <br />secured by such assessment payments. <br />The Mayor then opens the meeting to discussion by those interested in the issues raised by the <br />formation of the district and the sale of bonds.
