HUTTON, <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE THE ANNUAL ENGINEERS REPORT AND <br />TO CONSIDER THE CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE LANDSCAPE <br />MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1, CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENTS <br />AND ORDERING LEVY AND COLLECTION OF SPECIFIC ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994-1995 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On June 8, 1994 the City Council adopted Resolution No. R-64-94 <br />ordering the preparation of the Annual Engineer's Report and intent <br />to set a Public Hearing for protests related to the annual levying <br />of Assessments for the Landscape Maintenance District No. 1. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The City's consultant engineer has prepared the report for Fiscal <br />Year 1994-95. The Report, in its entirety, is on file with the City <br />Clerk's office. An excerpt of that Report has been included as part <br />of the Agenda package. Published Notice has been given as required <br />by Section 6061 of the Government Code and record of this action is <br />with the City Clerk's Office <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />There will be no financial impact as the assessment is to remain <br />unchanged from last years assessment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Council order the continuing operation of <br />the Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 and the collection of <br />assessments for the Fiscal Year 1994-95. <br />City Manager's Concurrance AgA2�9 <br />Attachment: Report <br />Resolution <br />
