1 RESOLUTION NO. R-105-94 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />3 OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, MAKING FINDINGS AND <br />DETERMINATIONS AS TO THE BENEFIT OF CERTAIN <br />4 RIGHT-OF-WAY IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SANTA ANA <br />RIVER REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA <br />5 <br />6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton, California (the "City"), <br />7 is a municipal corporation duly created and existing pursuant to <br />8 the Constitution and the laws of the State of California (the <br />9 "City") ; and <br />10 <br />11 WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of <br />12 Colton (the "Agency"), is a redevelopment agency, a public body, <br />13 corporate and politic of the State of California, organized and <br />14 existing pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law (Part 1 of <br />15 Division 24 commencing with Section 33000) of the Health and <br />16 Safety Code of the State of California (the "Act") ; and <br />17 <br />18 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33445 of the Act, the <br />19 Agency may, with the consent of the Mayor and City Council of the <br />City (the "City"),, <br />20 pay all or a part of the cost of installation <br />21 and construction of any building, facility, structure or other <br />22 improvement which is publicly owned either within or without the <br />23 boundaries of a redevelopment project area if the Council <br />24 determines: (1) that such buildings, facilities, structures or <br />25 other improvements are of benefit to the redevelopment project <br />26 area or the immediate neighborhood in which the project is <br />27 located, regardless of whether such improvement is within another <br />28 project area, or in the case of a project area in which <br />- 1 - <br />
