CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (Continued) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 16, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION FOR IN-STATE TRAVEL TO ATTEND THE <br />WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION WORKSHOP <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The cost to have one employee attend this workshop would be approximately $445. Because <br />meetings like this are considered as necessary to the Electric Utility, they were included in the FY <br />1994-1995 operating budget and funding has been accounted for in the Weatherization Division. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There are no environmental impacts as a result of this action. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Electric Utility to send a representative to the <br />Western Area Power Administration Emerging Issues for Utilities workshop in Sacramento during <br />August 25 and 26, 1994. <br />City Manager's Concurrence: 'f <br />REPORT PREPARED BY THOMAS K.
