CITY OF COLTON <br />,noorrorat 90 7. <br />AGENDA REPORT "U—" <br />¢ f oto <br />For Council Meeting of December 20, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: December 12, 1994 <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ-HARMON <br />Personnel Director A4"U'6� <br />SUBJECT: RATIFY NEW EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENTS TO THE FULL-TIME POSITIONS OF <br />WASTEWATER MECHANIC I, WASTEWATER OPERATOR IN TRAINING AND <br />SECRETARY IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Personnel actions below are presented for Council ratification, as requested. <br />Promotion: Martin Oliva to the classification of Wastewater Operator in Training in the Public <br />Works Department, effective December 26, 1994. This is a 40 hour per week position, <br />paid at the hourly rate of $12.6462. A copy of the job description is attached. <br />Appointment: Charles Delheiro to the classification of Wastewater Mechanic I in the Public Works <br />Department, effective December 27, 1994. This is a 40 hour per week position, paid at <br />the hourly rate of $13.9154. A copy of the job description is attached. <br />Linda J. Morgan to the classification of Secretary in the Public Works Department, <br />Water Utility Division, effective December 27, 1994. This is a 40 hour per week <br />position, paid at the hourly rate of $12.5538. A copy of the job description is attached. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />These positions are funded in the FY 94/95 Budget in Wastewater Utility or Water Utility which are enterprise <br />funds and will not impact the General Fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />City Council ratify the above appointed positions as recommended by staff. <br />City Manager Concur: <br />i <br />Attachments <br />c:agen&.12-20.
