Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance) is hereby <br />amended by the addition of Section 18.48.100, "Recreational Vehicles Regulations," to <br />read as follows: <br />18.48.100 Recreational Vehicles Regulations <br />A. This section regulates the parking and storage of recreational vehicles: <br />motorhomes, camping trailers, fifth wheel camping trailers, campers, boats, <br />off-road vehicles, and their trailers, in the R -E, R-1, R-2 and R-3 zones, or in <br />other zones where there are legally non -conforming residential uses, or <br />within a 300 foot radius of such legally permitted but non-residential zoned <br />property. This section shall not apply to any business in a non- <br />residential zone established as a storage facility for ten or more recreational <br />vehicles or for the retail sale of recreational vehicles. Nothing in Section <br />18.56, "Property Maintenance," shall be construed to preclude the use of, or <br />storage of, recreational vehicles by residents in "R" zones. <br />B. "Recreational vehicle" means a vehicular unit not exceeding forty-two feet in <br />overall length or eight feet in width, primarily designed as a temporary living <br />quarters for recreational, camping or travel use or to carry such equipment; <br />nor shall it be a mobilehome.
