EXHIBIT A <br />18.48.100 Recreational Vehicles Regulations <br />A. This section regulates the parking and storage of recreational vehicles: <br />motorhomes, camping trailers, fifth wheel camping trailers, campers, boats, off-road <br />vehicles, and their trailers, in the R -E, R-1, R-2 and R-3 zones only. Nothing in <br />Section 18.56, "Property Maintenance," shall be construed to preclude the use of, or <br />storage of, recreational vehicles by residents in "R" zones. <br />B. "Recreational vehicle" means a vehicular unit not exceeding forty-two feet in overall <br />length or eight feet in width, primarily designed as a temporary living quarters for <br />recreational, camping or travel use or to cant' such equipment; nor shall it be a <br />mobilehome. It either has its own motive power or is designed to be mounted on or <br />drawn by an automotive vehicle. It shall include, but not be limited to, the following <br />defined recreational vehicles: <br />1. "Motorhome" means a structure constructed integrally with a truck or motor <br />van chassis designed for human habitation and incapable of being separated <br />therefrom. The truck or motor van chassis may have single or double rear <br />wheels. <br />2. "Camping trailer" or "fifth wheel camping trailer" means a vehicle without <br />motive power, designed so that it can be drawn by an automotive vehicle to <br />be used for the carrying of persons or as a human habitation. <br />3. "Camper" means a separate vehicle designed for human habitation and <br />which can be attached or detached from a light truck having either single or <br />double rear wheels and with or without an assisting tab axle and wheels <br />mounted either on the camper chassis or the truck chassis behind the truck's <br />rear wheels. When removed from the truck, campers are called unmounted <br />campers. These campers are sometimes called truck campers. <br />4. "Boat" means a vehicle for traveling in or on water. <br />5. "Off-road vehicle" means a vehicle designed for use other than on streets or <br />highways. It is registered by the proper permits required by the state, county <br />and city for this type vehicle. <br />6. "Boat or off-road vehicle trailer" means a vehicle on which a boat or off-road <br />vehicle may be transported and which is towable by an automotive vehicle. <br />When the boat or off-road vehicle is removed, the unit is still classified as a <br />recreational vehicle. <br />
