CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of February 15, 1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Recreation and Human Services Department <br />SU13JECT: Budget Adjustment for the Senior Chore Grant <br />Date: 1-31-94 <br />BACKGROUND <br />With the Senior Chore Grant the Recreation and Human Services Department is able to <br />provide periodic maintenance for a household such as heavy cleaning, washing <br />windows, trimming trees, and mowing lawns. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The, original grant contracts were signed in April 1993 and $2,000 was budgeted for <br />this program. Subsequently more funds became. available through the San Bernardino <br />County Department of Aging and Adult Services and the grant was amended to total <br />$2953.00. In order for the budget to reflect this increase in funds, staff will need to <br />c se <br />increase the, Senior Chore revenue account #01-0652 by $953.00 and increase the <br />Senior Chore expenditure account #01-8024-35 by $953.00. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact to the City as this grant is 100% reimbursable. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Mayor and Council to approve the above stated budget adjustment for the Senior Chore <br />Grant Program. <br />Report prepared by Erik Wood, Recreation & Human Services <br />City Manager's concurrence <br />Attachments: none <br />Page I of I <br />Item N.. 7 <br />
