FUNDED <br />PROJECT, FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND. <br />The Park and Ride Project has I.S.T.E.A. funding approval from Cal -Trans. <br />This project is located on Sperry Drive, South of Howard Johnsons. <br />(see Attachment "A"" for location map) <br />This is a 100% reimbursable program, which umbrellas engineering design and <br />surveying only. A percentage for construction and land cost will be extra. <br />This project will reflect part of the measures the city is implementing to <br />comply with the TCM requirements. <br />On October 20, 1993, the Traffic Committee made the recommendation that <br />Traffic funds be allocated to the "Park and Ride" project in the amount of <br />$25,000.00, for the purpose of providing seed monies. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />This initial seed monies would have a temporary impact, in the amount of <br />$25,000.00, but would be 100% reimbursable to the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve and authorize funds to be <br />appropriated in the amount of $25,000.00 from the Traffic funds to the <br />Traffic Capital Improvement, account # 49-9106-89 to be designated for the <br />"Park and Ride project". <br />City Manager's Concurrence <br />Report prepared by James King <br />Attachments 1 <br />B;PARKNRIDEAG <br />
