SECTION 1.6 <br />PROCEDURAL DOCUMENTS <br />AGREEMENT <br />12TH STREET, "A" AND ARMORY COURTS PIPELINE <br />PROJECT NO. PU 93-5 <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 4th day of <br />January 19 94 by and between <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor") and the <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />State of California, (hereinafter referred to as the "City). <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council duly awarded the contract to the Contractor, <br />records of which are on file in the Office of the. City Clerk and open <br />to public inspection; and, <br />WHEREAS, said works if improvement for which the contractor was <br />awarded the Contract are set forth herein. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />A G R E E M E N T <br />That the he Contracto <br />r for consideration mentioned in his proposal, will <br />do in good and workmanlike manner, all the hereinafter mentioned work <br />or improvements under the direction and to the satisfaction of the <br />City. <br />That the following is a general and abbreviated description of the <br />work: <br />The project consists of furnishing labor, materials and equipment <br />for the construction of approximately 1,500 linear feet of eight - <br />inch, polyvinyl chloride water pipeline and appurtenances. <br />That the Contractor will, at said Contractor's own cost and expense, <br />furnish all necessary materials and labor for said work, and the <br />materials used therein shall comply with the specifications and be to <br />the satisfaction of the City, AND, the Contractor will, within 60 <br />working days hereof, complete the said work of improvements and turn <br />1.6-1 <br />
