R- 82 -94 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING <br />NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, <br />NOVEMBER 8, 1994, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN <br />OFFICERS OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE <br />PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to <br />General Law Cities in the State of California, a general <br />municipal election shall be held on November 8, 1994, for the <br />election of Municipal Officers; and <br />WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of the election it is <br />necessary for the City to request services of the County; and <br />WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service <br />shall be paid by the City of Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws <br />of the State of California relating to General Law Cities <br />within the State, there is called and ordered held in the City <br />Of Colton, California on Tuesday, November 8, 1994, a general <br />municipal election of the qualified electors of the City, to <br />be consolidated with the Statewide General Election, for the <br />purpose of electing the following officers of the City: <br />A. A Mayor to be elected at large for a full term of <br />four years; <br />B. A Councilmember by District for a full term of Four <br />
