RESOLUTION NO. R-72-94 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON TO APPROVE STAFF RECOMMENDED <br />NAMING OF THE NEW ELECTRIC SUBSTATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has the authority to officially <br />name public facilities; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Electric Utility has proposed to build a new electrical substation <br />on the west side of the city to serve electric customers; and, <br />WHEREAS, retiring Electric Utility Director, Gale A. Drews has given over 36 <br />years of dedicated service to the citizens of Colton and the municipally -owned electric utility <br />industry. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Colton City Council finds <br />that it would be appropriate to recognize Mr. Drews' contributions and dedication by naming the <br />new Electric Utility substation as the "Drews Substation". <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 1994. <br />FRANK A.
