CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 1, 1994 <br />TO: 'Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />.FROM: Recreation and Human Services Department <br />SUBJECT: RESOLUTION FOR THE ROBERTI-Z'BERG-HARRIS URBAN <br />OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION GRANT PROGRAM <br />Date: 2-9-94 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Roberti -Z' Berg -Harris Urban Open Space and Recreation Grant Program attempts <br />to meet the most urgent and unmet recreational needs in California. The City of <br />Colton originally applied for funds under this grant program in 1994, however the <br />funds were never expended. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The attached resolution would allow staff apply for $12,108.00 in available grant funds <br />and direct this amount towards the pool construction phase of the proposed Community <br />Center. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution which will allow staff to apply for <br />(funds under the Roberti-Z'Berg-Harris Urban.
