NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton, 2 California., DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: 3 4 SECTION 1. Proposals for the Purchase of Bonds. Sealed 5 proposals for the purchase of the Bonds shall be received by the 6 Director or the Treasurer at the date, time and place provided for in 7 a Notice Inviting Bids for the Bonds or at such other dates and times 8 as shall be determined by the Director or the Treasurer. 9 10 SECTION 2. Notice Inviting Bids. Each of the Director and 11 the Treasurer is hereby authorized to approve a Notice Inviting Bids 12 for the Bonds (such approval to be conclusively evidenced by the 13 distribution thereof). The City Clerk is hereby authorized and 14 directed to cause the Notice Inviting Bids for the Bonds to be 15 distributed to prospective bidders for the Bonds upon their request. 16 17 SECTION 3. Notice of Intention to Sell Bonds. Each of the 18 Director and the Treasurer is hereby authorized to approve a Notice of 19 Intention to Sell Bonds (such approval to be conclusively evidenced by 20 the publication thereof). The City Clerk is hereby authorized and 21 directed to cause the Notice of Intention to Sell Bonds to be 22 distributed to prospective bidders for the Bonds upon their request. 23 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause such notice 24 to be published once., at least fifteen (15) days prior to the earliest 25 date for receiving proposals stated therein., in The Bond Buyer, a 26 financial publication circulated throughout California, with such 27 changes, insertions and omissions as the Director, the Treasurer or 28 the City Clerk shall approve, such approval to be conclusively LA01 \6169\18256.3 2 95490.2
