CITY OF COLTON of <br />AGENDA REPORT Wr 1887 <br />a 1 f ori <br />For Council Meeting of October 18, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: October 12, 1994 <br />FROM: Gracie Fernandez Harmon <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: UNFREEZE POWERLINE TECHNICIAN POSITION IN THE ELECTRIC <br />DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZE STAFF TO BEGIN RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />BACKGROUND <br />Ronald Pendergrass, Powerline Technician, terminated his employment with the City of Colton effective <br />October 6, 1994 to accept a similar position with the City of Riverside. Thomas K. Clarke, Electric Utility <br />Director has submitted a Request for Recruitment for this position to replace Mr. Pendergrass. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />There are two vacant Powerline Technican positions in the Transmission and Distribution Division, however, <br />only one was frozen in the FY 94-95 Budget.
