The intent and purpose <br />for treating all organizations as a single entity is to insure that the selection <br />process is equitable and that no one organization with multiple subgroups will <br />have an unfair advantage over other single purpose organizations. <br />D. No organization may receive more than one license for fireworks <br />sale during any one calendar year. <br />E. No more than five school sponsored youth groups shall receive <br />licenses during any one calendar year. <br />F. One license may be issued to two or more qualifying applicants as <br />a joint venture. <br />G. Bylaws of nonprofit groups and other evidence of exemption must <br />be provided with any application submitted under this chapter. <br />H. All groups must be based in Colton for a minimum of two years. <br />All proceeds must benefit the citizens of Colton. <br />6.32.060 Allocation of licenses by category of organization. <br />A. Each calendar year, a total of twelve license may be issued by the <br />city. Those licenses shall be distributed to qualified organizations submitting <br />applications as follows: <br />1. Churches -- three licenses; <br />2. Youth groups and school sponsored youth groups <br />collectively -- six licenses; <br />3. Civic organizations -- three licenses. <br />3 <br />
