CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (Continued) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF October 4, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE ELECTRIC UTILITY DIRECTOR TO ACQUIRE <br />VARIOUS EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR <br />TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION LINES FOR THE NEW <br />SUBSTATION AND TRANSMISSION FACILITIES AND MAKE <br />PAYMENTS AT A PRICE EQUAL TO, OR LESS THAN APPRAISED <br />VALUES <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The total price for twenty parcels is approximately $125,000. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />All the necessary measures will be taken to minimize any environmental impact caused by this <br />project. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Electric Utility Director to approve the <br />settlement and payment of these negotiations for acquisition of all of easements and rights-of-way <br />at a price equal to or less than the appraised value.
