The city council may not consider any requests for additional <br />licenses exceeding the number specified in the current calendar year; however, <br />additional license requested may be presented for approval in the following <br />calendar year. <br />C. In the event that fewer organizations within any category apply for <br />licenses than this section allocates, the remaining unallocated licenses shall be <br />allocated by lot as provided in Section 6.32.70 of this chapter. <br />6.32.070 Allocation of license by lot. If the number of applications in any one <br />organizational category exceeds the number of licenses permitted to be issued in accord <br />with Section 6.32.060 of this chapter, the Fire Chief shall conduct a drawing to <br />determine which applicants shall be issued licenses. Each applicant subject to selection <br />by lot shall be notified at least five days in advance of the drawing in writing by the city <br />and shall have aright to attend and witness the drawing for such licenses. <br />6.32.080 Sale--License--Notice of grant or denial: Applicants for any such license <br />shall be notified by the fire department of the city by April 15th of the granting or <br />rejection of such application for license." <br />SECTION 4: Section 6.32.130(G) is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"G. Prior to the issuance of a license, each applicant shall files with the fire <br />department a cash deposit, certificate of deposit or a surety bond made payable to the city <br />in the amount of one hundred dollars to assure compliance with the provisions of this <br />chapter. Such deposit or certificate shall be refundable upon compliance with the <br />provisions and requirements of this chapter, including but not limited to the removal of <br />
