CITY OF COLTON <br />a <br />AGENDA REPORT 1887 <br />! f oto <br />For Council Meeting of September 20, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: September 12, 1994 <br />FROM: JOHN HUTTON <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: FINAL ACCEPTANCE/NOTICE OF COMPLETION C.D.B.G./COLTON STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT OLIVE, BORDWELL, LA CADENA AND MT. VERNON <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The C.D.B.G./Colton Street improvement project general location and limits of <br />the work are as follows: <br />Olive and Lemon Streets: from Bordwell Avenue east to Mt. Vernon Avenue <br />Highland, Redlands and: from Olive Street north Rialto and Bordwell <br />Avenue to Laurel Street <br />The project involved the preparation of existing subgrade and placement of <br />asphalt pavement at an estimated cost of $201,478.00 <br />SUMMARY: <br />The contractor has completed the work as specified in the contractor on <br />August 29, 1994. The records indicated that this project was completed <br />within the allowable working days. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds in the amount of $213,025 was <br />approved and obligated as a source of funding for this project <br />The total amount of the construction contract is $152,687. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommended final acceptance of: <br />1. C.B.G./Colton Street improvement Olive, Bordwell, La Cadena and Mt. <br />Vernon in the amount of $152,687 <br />2.
