Please be advised that my current efforts are focused on establishing methods of strengthening our sister city union throughout the coming years. The City of Colton has gracefully acknowledged the water fountain, jewelry set and various textbooks that depict the historical culture of Rio Grande and Zacatecas, Mexico. We shall treasure the water fountain for its cultural charm and craftsmanship, but even more as a constant reminder of a valuable.friendship among our cities. These items will be kept on display in the Office of the Mayor & Council for the viewing pleasure of all our residents. These gifts will be cherished for many years to come. Understanding .that September 16th is your National Independence Celebration, we hope we are able to accept. your invitation and visit Rio Grande.
