165 <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 16, 1975 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date in the Council Chambers <br />in the Civic Center, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, at 6:35 p. m. Mayor Huntoon presid- <br />ing. <br />Notice of Special Meeting was given on May 15, 1975, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Spragins, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present was City <br />Manager Huffaker, Assistant City Attorney Edwards, and Deputy City Clerk Veralrud. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 6:38 p. m. , on the request of Mayor Huntoon, to discuss Personnel <br />Matters . <br />The City Council reconvened at 8:45 p. m. , all members present. <br />ADTOURNMENT: <br />There being no further business to come before the City Council at this time, on motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded <br />by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the me at 8:48 p. m. VERALRUD <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />Approved this day of 19'75, <br />Mayor <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 23, 1975 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date in the Council Chambers <br />in the Civic Center, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, at 6:35 p.m., Mayor Pro Tempore Rehrer <br />presiding. <br />Notice of Special Meeting was given on May 16, 1975, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Spragins, Gonzales, and Mayor Pro Tempore Rehrer. Also present was City Manager <br />Huffaker, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent were Mayor Huntoon and City Attorney Hutton. <br />Approval of City Payroll and Material Warrants <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Rehrer announced the purpose of the Special Meeting today was to approve City Payroll and Material <br />Warrants. <br />Councilwoman Spragins stated she had questions on two warrants, the first one being Warrant No. 1543 depositing the <br />amount of $730.64 to the Petty Cash Reimbursement -Finance. Councilwoman Spragins stated she would like to know what <br />the total sum of the Petty Cash Fund was. <br />City Manager Huffaker referred the question to Finance Director McGuire. Mr. McGuire responded that the total sum <br />of the Petty Cash was $1,000.00. <br />Councilwoman Spragins then asked for an explanation to Warrant No. 1557 in the amount of $200.00 to Leadership Develop- <br />ment Inc. <br />City Manager Huffaker reported that three men from Community Services Department hac been sent to a two day Leadership <br />Seminar held at the Holiday Inn. <br />Mr. Randy Johnsen, Assistant to the City Manager, reported the individuals attending the seminar were: Hal O'Hair, <br />Roy Briscoe, and Bob Hatfield. <br />There were no further questions. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins, to approve Warrant Nos. 1539 through 1757 and Nos. 19126 <br />through 19735 (May 23) inclusive, as recommended by the Director of Finance. Vote was unanimous. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Councilwoman Spragins moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Gonzales. Vote was unanimous.
