6354 <br />Councilman Rehrer stated that in his opinion, this request appeared to be one of ramroding something through the <br />Council. Councilman Rehrer said it would appear that sufficient time for proper planning and processing should <br />have been allowed for prior to spending or investing in advance advertisement. <br />Mr. Post replied to Councilman Rehrer's last comment saying that he had begun planning and advertising about three <br />weeks ago, however, it had not occurred to him that these activities would have to be approved by the Planning <br />Commission and in turn by the City Council. Mr. Post stated that during the late planning stages he had a telephone <br />conversation with Mr. Williams where he was informed of the proper procedures and the calendar involved in process- <br />ing his application. <br />There was no further questions or discussion. Motion for approval with the additional condition carried. Councilman <br />Rehrer voting NO. <br />An,1nIIRNMFNT <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to adjourn. Johnson of the Colton Community Church. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Beltran. Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamation <br />NATIONAL HUNTING AND FISHING DAY <br />Mayor Beltran proclaimed September 25, 1976, as NATIONAL HUNTING AND FISHING DAY. <br />Resolution of Commendation <br />Mr. Hal O'Hair <br />Mayor Beltran read a Resolution of Commendation honoring Mr. Hal O'Hair for his 26 years of dedicated service <br />to the City of Colton.
