443 <br />Legislation <br />SB 792 <br />City Attorney Edwards advised that the City Librarian has requested the Board of Trustees be authorized by the <br />City Council to consider SB 792, which would create new library services, and if the Board wishes, to recommend <br />to the City Council that the Council take a position on this legislation. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, authorizing and approving the Board of Trustees of <br />the Colton Library to consider Senate Bill 792. Vote was unanimous. <br />Proposed Projects <br />Architectural Fees <br />Mayor Beltran asked what are the additional charges for architectural fees with regard to the proposed modifications <br />to the Multi -Service Center. <br />Mr. de la Cerda answered the fees will be approximately $5,500, which has been included in the total amount <br />requested, as outlined in the letter to Mr. Townsend. <br />Mayor Beltran stated he would then recommend that upon receipt of the required monies, the architect then be <br />authorized to proceed with the modifications of plans for the proposed Center. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, authorizing and approving architect to proceed <br />with modifications to plans for Multi -Service Center, upon receipt of funds from the County, as outlined. <br />Vote was unanimous. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Gonzales, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros and unanimously passed, Mayor Beltran adjourned <br />the meeting at 5:20 p. m. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 21, 1977 <br />A regular meeting of the City.Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Beltran presiding. <br />Mayor Beltran led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by the Reverend Virgil Rayborn of the Church of the Nazarene. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Beltran. If there is presently an outstanding policy with another Broker, <br />it would be between the City, and the Broker and that insurance company as to whether these can be <br />transferred immediately to this company, or whether, if there is a long term insurance policy, whether <br />that would stay with that Broker.
