<br />Mr. Holt stated this now brings the Personnel Budget down to $61,285.
<br />Councilmen Gonzales and Rehrer felt that Account No. 16, Education and Training, in the amount of $4,600., should
<br />be deleted.
<br />Discussion followed with regard to this account and its activities, which consist of Management Meetings, $1,600;
<br />Tuition Reimbursement, $2,000; Special One -Day Courses, $1,000.
<br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to delete from Account No. 16, Education and Training,
<br />the amount of $2,000. for Tuftibn, Reimbursement, reducing this account to $2,600. Motion carried, with Councilman
<br />Rehrer voting NO.
<br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to tentatively approve the Personnel Budget, in the
<br />amount of $59,285. Unanimous vote.
<br />The Council Members took a short recess at 7:00 p. m., and reconvened at 7:30 p. m., all Members present.
<br />Multi -Service Center, Community Center
<br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to tentatively approve the Multi -Service Center and
<br />Community Center Budgets in the amount of $43,000. Vote was unanimous.
<br />Insurance, 01-1215
<br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to tentatively approve the Insurance Budget, in the
<br />amount of $299,095. Unanimous vote.
<br />City Attorney, 01-1401
<br />City Attorney Edwards stated he would like to draw the Council's attention to Account No. 27, Dues and Publications,
<br />in the amount of $180. Mr. Edwards said that $140. is for the State Bar Association, and $40. is for the County
<br />Bar Association, and he wanted to point that out to the Council Members.
<br />Discussion was then held on providing an office for the City Attorney in City Hall. Council consensus was that
<br />inasmuch as Mr. Edwards is a City employee and full time City Attorney, he should be located at City Hall to be
<br />available at all times.
<br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, to tentatively approve the City Attorney's Budget, in
<br />the amount of $28,160. Unanimous vote.

<br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7: 30 p.m., in the
<br />Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Beltran presiding.
<br />Mayor Beltran led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer.
