258 After much discussion Staff was asked't to come back with a detailed report show- ing the City's cost for maintenance and operation of the plant and a more detailed report on the first year under the contracted out operation. REFUSE COLLECTION City Manager Calabrese reported the Utilities Commission recommends a study be made of the equipment in this department, the administrative cost has increased due Co the new and more equitable formula being applied and costed out to all enterprise funds. Mr. Calabrese said whereas the Administrative Account cost shows an increase in the Refuse Collection, the cost to the Electric Utility shows a decrease due to the new formula and additionally, several accounts have been combined and are shown under this account. CFMFTFRY City Manager stated one must remain flexible with the Cemetery Division because the recommendations of the Cemetery Commission are just now coming about and the sales- person has not yet come aboard. Mr. Calabrese reiterated the addition of $5,000 for advertising purposes in the Special Department Expense. BUDGET Mayor Gonzales moved to approve the Enterprise Funds Annual Budget as presented. Mayor Gonzales withdrew his motion. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros to approve the Annual Enterprise Funds Budget as presented, with the exception of the Water Quality Con- trol Fund pending further review. Motion carried unanimously. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the City Council, on motion of Council- woman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:00 p. m.
