Absent was Councilwoman Cisneros, due to a death in the family. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Minutes <br />July 15, 1980 <br />July 21, 1980 <br />Warrants <br />36242, 364973 36499, 36501 through 36750 <br />117773 11778, 141455 142249 142255 14262 through 14512 <br />(July 31, 1980) Inclusive <br />Swimming Pool <br />Progress Report and Payment Request No. 11, $11,511., Change Order No. 2, <br />$1,230. <br />Agreements <br />Northern California Power Agency, to obtain a license for the Feather River <br />Project 1962. <br />Banners <br />Los Angeles County Fair, announcing County Fair dates, September 26 through <br />October 12, 1980. <br />Public Works <br />Progress Report on Construction Projects. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Chamber of Commerce <br />Colton Western Days <br />Acting City Manager Elliott referred to a letter from the Chamber of Commerce re- <br />garding the second annual Colton Western Days to be held September 28 through <br />October 5, 1980. <br />Mr. Elliott stated that Mr. Wes Hayden, Chairman of the Colton Western Days Com- <br />mittee, has advised they would like to remove this item from the Agenda at this <br />time for further review with Staff, to be brought back to the City Council at a <br />later date. <br />Assessment Districts <br />City Treasurer Margaret Berkebile gave a status report on the Assessment Districts <br />stating it was an update on the delinquencies in the Cooley Ranch Sewer Assessment <br />District and a report on the progress of the assessment district work. <br />Mrs. Berkebile stated she is.awaiting delivery of ammorization schedules on District <br />No. 78-2 from Mike Whipple so that those amounts may be placed on the tax rolls, <br />along with other delinquent amounts. <br />Acting City Manager stated it should be noted that over $33,000 has been collected <br />so far. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Conditional Use Permits <br />P. C. Res. No. 955 <br />Planning Director Trevino reported on a Conditional Use Permit application requested <br />by John P. King concerning the conversion of an existing industrial office building <br />into a 14 -unit condominium development on property located in the Cooley Ranch, north <br />of Cooley Drive on the west side of Via Lata, 897 Via Lata, within the Planned Com- <br />munity Zone.and Tract No. 11507. <br />Mr. Trevino advised that the Planning Commission reviewed and studied this item at <br />a public hearing held July 22, 1980, and recommended approval of the Conditional <br />Use Permit application subject to findings and three conditions as listed in Plann- <br />ing Commission Resolution No. 955. <br />AUG 6 m <br />
